Mr. Rubin received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University. From 2005 to 2007 he was Anchor and World Affairs Commentator for Sky News. He was a top policy adviser to Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and has since held numerous senior positions in the international media, including at Sky News and Bloomberg and is a regular contributor on politics and international affairs on television and in the press. Since 2014 James writes a regular column on foreign affairs for the Sunday Times and serves on the Board of the International Peace Institute and was Visiting Scholar from 2013 to 2014 at the Rothermere American Institute, Oxford. He has also been a visiting professor at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and the London School of Economics.
