Alun’s calibre was apparent from the off making his senior debut for Wales in 2006, he now has over 10 years’ international experience and an incredible 130 international Caps. He was a member of the legendary Wales side that completed the Grand Slam in the 2008 Six Nations Championship, and went onto Captain the side the following year. He was named as the best player of the 2019 Six Nations Championship. He is one of a small group of Welsh players to have won three Grand Slams. Off the pitch he is one of the most eloquent and well-spoken individuals in the sport and it’ll come as no surprise to learn that he has a degree in law. He is a talisman for Welsh rugby and quite simply a legend in his home country.
