Talk to us about Justin Moorhouse

In Detail

Thinking there might be more to life than sales (and realising that he would never play for Manchester United), Justin Moorhouse took up comedy at the comparatively late age of 29. After supporting Manchester’s best known comedians, including Johnny Vegas and Peter Kay, Justin became a headline act in his own right. He is perhaps most recognisable as the hapless Young Kenny in Phoenix Nights, who spent the whole of the second series with his face painted as a tiger – but he has also appeared in Coronation Street, as rival pub landlord Dean Upton, and was a winner of Celebrity Mastermind. Justin is still very active on radio. he is the current Champion of Champions on Radio 5 Lives’ Fighting Talk and often pops up on The News Quiz on Radio 4.

What he offers you

Justin’s affable character, brimming with confidence and energy, has a certain old-fashioned charm, as his is the sort of personality which you instinctively trust to make you laugh – and he doesn’t disappoint.
