One of Britain’s most influential and admired commentators, Timothy is the author of eleven books of political writing or ‘history of the present’. Beyond his role as Professor at the University of Oxford, he is also Professorial Fellow at St Antony’s College in Oxford and a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University. He writes a weekly column on international affairs in the Guardian which is syndicated globally. Timothy’s work has earned him numerous awards and honours including the George Orwell Prize and the Charlemagne Prize.
